Rovio has previously teased Angry Birds Go! and today we get our first look at the kart racer that will feel familar to anyone who's ever played a little Mario Kart in their time. Available on all four major mobile platforms at the same time, Angry Birds Go! will launch on December 11 for free.
In Angry Birds Go! you can feel the rush as you fling down the track and go head-to-head in a fast and furious race to the finish line! Look out for treacherous roads, mischievous opponents and unique special powers to put the race leader behind the pack. Plus you can go from homemade soapbox car to a super-fly car by upgrading your ride. It’s all there, along with crazy stunt and air tracks, and many fun and surprising game modes.
Also, as with the recent Angry Birds Star Wars II release, the Telepods will make an appearance via the partnership with Hasbro. Rovio promises big things for their first ever racing game, and that December 11 will be only the beginning. It's great to see a new path for the Angry Birds franchise, and I love a good racing game so I'll be looking forward to putting this one through its paces. How about you?
